HyperTerminal, .DLL files displayed with HYPERTERM.EXE due to option selected.
Cause:
If the 'Show All Files' option is selected, then .DLL files as well as all other files in the folder will be displayed.
Solution:
In the HyperTerminal window, select the 'View' menu and select 'Options...'. Click the 'View' tab and select the 'Hide files of these types' radio button.
CAUTION: DO NOT remove the .dll files from the HyperTerminal folder. Doing so will cause HyperTerminal not to function.
Follow these steps if not all the files in the 'HyperTerminal' folder are to be viewed:
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select the 'Programs' menu.
3) Select 'Accessories' and select 'HyperTerminal'. (The 'HyperTerminal' window appears.)
4) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Options...'. (The 'Options' dialog box appears.)
5) Click the 'View' tab.
6) Select the 'Hide files of these types' radio button.
